Ayan Daripa

I'm a researcher in Theoretical Physics focusing on black hole physics and gravity. My current work involves studying analytic black hole solutions in various modified gravity theories, particularly examining their thermodynamic properties and phase transitions in Anti-de Sitter (AdS) spacetime. I collaborate with researchers studying charged hairy black holes, nonlinear electrodynamics, and scalar-tensor theories of gravity. My recent work has focused on constructing new solutions of primary hair charged black holes in asymptotically AdS space with Coulomb-like potential in three dimensions, analyzing their thermodynamic properties in different ensembles.

I'm particularly interested in understanding how scalar fields coupled to gravity and gauge fields affect black hole thermodynamics and phase transitions. My research explores various coupling functions between gauge and scalar fields, examining their impact on black hole stability and phase structure. Through this work, I aim to contribute to our understanding of black hole physics and the fundamental nature of gravity.
